Growing up I have always had an eye for the beauty and natural things in life. I could always be found exploring, and clicking away with my mothers film camera. I should thank her for my deep interest in the arts, and she is my number one supporter and fan today. I love being able to take any person, and make not only a vision that I create in my mind but also give them a deeper self-love then when they came to me first. Most of my models have realized their true beauty and potential through shoots we have done together, and that takes the gratification of being a photographer to a new level.
Although I am fulfilling my dream of being a photographer without having my degree, it is important that I get my BA from FHSU because my true dream is to be a free-lance photographer for National Geographic. I have changed my mind and opened the doors to other publications as well, and will take my time finding which one will suit my creativity best so that both parties will be fully satisfied.
Until I graduate next May, I plan to continue working with my current models and explore different things we can achieve together, as well as gain other clients through word of mouth and regular advertising. I pride myself on being the cheapest photographer in Hays, but still giving 150% satisfaction in my work which is what I strive for most.
Once I graduate from FHSU, I plan to start marketing myself even farther and reach surrounding areas of Hays until I have a grand enough client base to take my portfolio and testimonials to magazine publications around the country.
